The new Backup and Sync feature allows for individual backups by each device under your iCloud account. iCloud backups are done automatically and can be also performed manually to the iCloud or Locally on each respective device. Each time you restore a backup a local backup is generated in case you decide to revert changes.
Tip: If you happen to Ignore a Sync but would like to do it later or would like to perform a manual restore from a recent backup on another device or local backup, you can tap on the Backup / Sync Ignored bar at the bottom and perform the Restore from the Backup & Sync screen afterwards.
This new much improve way of Backup & Sync paves the way for even grater improvements to this feature and also allows for cross iCloud account Data Sharing that is now available since the v1.9.84
As a result, you can now load forecasts from another iPad, iPhone, or Mac using this sharing feature, even if the device is not linked to your iCloud account. However, please note that this will overwrite your current forecasts. This feature is designed primarily for sharing for view only, rather than for real-time collaboration at this stage.
